Choosing A Right Monitor For Your Outdoor Display

We live in an age of digital marketing. Even if you are participating in an outdoor marketing event, customers expect that technology will be involved somehow. Whether you are looking for a large digital banner to attract customers to your booth from a distance or an iPad bar to create an up close and personal interactive experience, it is important to choose the right monitor for your outdoor displays. It takes just 7 seconds on average for customers to decide if they want to enter a booth at an outdoor event. If you choose the wrong type of electronic display, they just might pass you by. Here are a few tips to help you choose a monitor for your next outdoor tradeshow, festival or other event.

1. Bigger Isn’t Always Better

When choosing a monitor for outdoor or indoor use, it is important to take the size of the booth into consideration. You don’t want the digital signage to overpower your booth. If you have a small booth that measures 10 feet by 10 feet, you may not want to choose 6 foot table top display. This will be overwhelming for the employees manning the both as well as customers passing by. Instead, you could use a narrow digital sign near the front corner of the booth. If you have a 10 x 20 booth, you could enhance the display with serpentine display in the back of the booth that can accommodate a 42” monitor to stream dynamic digital content. The larger your booth the more options you have when it comes to the size and placement of monitors. The key is to keep things in proportion to the size of your booth.

2. Define Your Goals

Digital signage of any type should reinforce your company’s brand in a clear, concise manner. Beyond that, the type of monitor that you choose will depend on what you are trying to accomplish while at the trade show. If you define your goals in advance it will be easier to design your booth and choose the appropriate type of technology.

3.  Look For Viewability

Certain products are difficult to view in direct sunlight. Have you ever tried to look at a smartphone or tablet that doesn’t have a protective finish on it? Usually, all you see is a black screen. When choosing a monitor for outdoor displays, you will want to consider the location of your booth, the amount of sunlight it will receive throughout the day as well as the viewability of the product. Monitors that feature screens with treated glass and are backlit with LED will boast blacker blacks, richer colors and superior viewability.

4. Easy To Clean

Furthermore, monitors for outdoor displays should be easy to clean. Large monitors or digital screens can quickly become dirty when exposed to the elements of nature. Even a small breeze can kick up a large amount of pollen and dirt. You want to be able to keep your display looking pristine at all times. The same holds true for any other electronic equipment in your booth. Interactive iPad counters will be swarming with germs and flaunting fingerprints if they don’t have a disinfectant resistant coating on the screen.

We have written a new article with advice on creating a successful trade show booth design. Keep in mind some key points when designing your booth area, such as using the right flooring, buying a portable booth and more.

If you are exhibiting at an upcoming trade show, you need an amazing booth design that will enhance your presentation and help you to be more productive. The following suggestions are helpful tips to ensure that your space looks the best.

Create Interest With The Right Visuals

First, a good booth will grab the attention of all of the guests at the show. There are many different eye-catching options that will successfully attract the attention you are in need of, including the following:

  • Pop up displays
  • Banner stands
  • Hanging banners
  • Table covers
  • Digital signage

These details can be used to create interest and describe your brand or products. They can also be customized to match your branding, company colors, and overall display. Products You Need for Your Trade Show Event

Here is a teaser from our latest article from our Trade Advice section on ExhibitDeal.com.

Are you exhibiting at an upcoming trade show? If so, then you need to an eye-catching booth to attract the attention of potential customers. In fact, a well-designed booth can increase your performance dramatically. Therefore, consider including these 7 products at your trade show booth.

Custom Displays

Custom Displays First, a good booth looks unique and different from the rest of the exhibitors. To differentiate yourself, try using a custom display. This display can be personalized to your company with specific colors, images, and logos. Even better, you can work with a design team to determine the correct layout and backdrop for your area. This way, the display best fits the space you have at the venue. For example, if you are in the center, an island display may be preferred. However, if you are in between other booths, you will probably need an inline display.

Banner Stands

Once you have designed your display, you can consider investing in additional visual enhancements. Banner stands are a great option to create appeal and interest in your booth. They are also very cost effective. Many companies actually use these stands to highlight promotions or new products.

How To Protect Your Displays During Shipping

After spending countless hours designing the perfect marketing strategy for your trade show booth—not to mention countless dollars on custom signage with compelling graphics—you will definitely want to do everything you can to protect your exhibit products when they are being shipped to each expo. Here are a few tips to help you do just that.

1. Select the right shipping containers.

The biggest mistake that companies make when it comes to shipping exhibit materials for a tradeshow booth is to ship them in containers that are the wrong size. There are a variety of products on the market that are designed specifically for tradeshow products. For instance, our half-hard case built to perfectly fit 6 foot and 8 foot tabletop pop up displays and ready pop fabric displays. You won’t have to worry about the popping mechanism getting damage during transit, bouncing around in the back of a truck or as it is thrown into the cargo area of a plane. Similarly, digital displays will require special protections such as monitor cases and the like.

2. Choose durable materials.

Obviously, you aren’t going to ship your tradeshow displays in a cardboard box; plastic tends to be the material of choice. Shipping containers that are rotational molded, however, tend to be stronger than those that are injection molded. The rotational molding process also allows the containers to be designed with a more customized fit for the product and manufactured using the optimal thickness to protect the product. In other words: the shipping containers will fit your display materials like a glove!

3. Look for features that make it more convenient to transport.

Your exhibit displays will be less likely to get damaged if you also look for features that make it easier to move from one location to the next—from the truck to the dock, from the dock to the expo floor, etc. Such features include:

  • Wheels
  • Handles
  • Locks

You may think of locks as a security feature rather than a transportation feature, but locks also protect the case from accidentally being popped open in the event that the container is dropped during the loading and unloading process.

4. Hire a reliable shipping company.

Most likely, the products you will be shipping are heavy and oddly shaped, making it more cost efficient to select the services of a specialized shipping company rather than a general parcel service. Often, the venue will offer a list of preferred providers that they recommend you use. Don’t hire a company without first checking a few references to determine their reliability. Nothing will make your company look more unprofessional than being forced to use displays that are damaged or broken or, worse yet, haven’t arrived on time. You will also want to inquire about other services the vendors may or may not offer such as:

  • Less than truckload service
  • Inside pick-up and delivery
  • Flexible scheduling
  • On-site assistance
  • Unpacking and debris removal

If you follow this advice to pack and protect your tradeshow displays, you can be sure that your investment will arrive in tact, attract potential customers and pay off at many tradeshows to come.

3 Great Tips For Choosing Trade Show Flooring

When it comes to designing a booth for a trade show that will stand out from the competitors, every last detail counts.  Many companies spend thousands of dollars on custom banners, digital signs and other exhibit products, yet they don’t give a second thought to the flooring and simply rent whatever is available at the venue. The floor should be given as much consideration as the displays in your booth. Essentially, you should think of it as yet another “wall” where you can showcase your products and brand your company. Here are a few tips to help you choose booth flooring that will help you create a buzz at your next trade show and attract more potential customers to your booth.

Scope Out The Competition

Chances are this isn’t your first trade show. You are probably already familiar with the booths of your closest competitors; think carefully about what their booth looks like. You don’t want to choose flooring that is an imitation of theirs, but rather a new innovation. For instance, if you sell home improvement products, time share condos, coffee table books or something else related to home and hearth you may want to consider designing your booth to look like a living room rather than a corporate sales floor. There are a variety of flooring products that can help you do just this, including:

This is the first step to making your booth more warm and welcoming. From there you will want to design signage for your products with compelling graphics and maybe even accessorize the booth with something unexpected such as a couple of comfortable chairs, a side table and lamps. After spending many long hours on their feet, potential customers will enjoy sitting down to discuss your product offering.

Brand Your Company

Of course not every type of product will lend itself to a homey vibe. Sometimes you need straight up commercialism to brand your company. Every successful company has one thing in common: an appealing brand that is easily identifiable. At a tradeshow, the face of your company can start on the floor. Products that work well for this purpose include:

  • Dry-sublimated carpeting
  • GrafX custom flooring

You can transfer a high resolution image of your company’s logo directly to either of these products. There will be no mistaking whose booth customers are nearing when you take advantage of the floor space on the expo floor with these products.

Project A Professional Appearance

Choosing a high-quality, flooring that perfectly fits the dimensions of your booth will go a long way to projecting the professional appearance that is essential to gain new customers at a tradeshow. There are other things to consider when choosing flooring products as well, however. For instance, the material should be easy to clean. Dry-sublimated carpeting is one of the few customizable products on the market that can be steam cleaned. Hardwood and vinyl flooring is also easy to maintain and usually requires nothing more than mop and a mild cleanser to keep it looking shiny and new. With countless visitors stepping onto the floor each day, the flooring also needs to be strong so that it doesn’t show wear and tear after just a few uses. Finally, choosing a product that has anti-fatigue properties will ensure that the representatives of your company also maintain professional appearance, even after a long day.

Materials To Customize Your Tradeshow Booth

Tradeshows can be an excellent way to drum up business for your company, no matter what industry you are in. A good showing at an annual tradeshow can increase your company’s income and get your name recognized by a larger customer base. What’s more, a great tradeshow display can mean the difference between getting the recognition you deserve and getting unfairly passed by. Here are some of our great options to help you customize a tradeshow booth on any kind of budget.

Tradeshow flooring options

If you are planning on having a large booth that your visitors can walk through, then one of our special flooring options is a good way to set yourself apart from the crowd. Our custom floorings come in laminate, hardwood, vinyl, and carpet options, and are available in a variety of colors and styles to fit any needs. If you own a home furnishings company, for example, our Rollable Flex-Floor in natural wood or natural stone styles can give your portable showroom a homey touch. If you want a more durable look, then try our Flexible Designer Vinyl Flooring, perfect for auto and machine tradeshows, or for anyone who is worried about wear and tear. For a softer, welcoming look, we have a number of Tradeshow Carpet options available in a selection of tasteful colors.

Tradeshow panel display options

Panel displays are portable walls that can be used to fence in your tradeshow booth and give visitors the impression that they are stepping off the main floor into a store or showroom. This can give your booth a professional touch, and serve to make it look more legitimate in comparison to freestanding tables that surround it. Our panel displays come in ten foot and twenty foot sizes, and we offer a number of different options to help you customize your display space to fit your needs. Choose shelves, sidebars, or plain panel walls. All of our panel displays are made from high quality vinyl, making them a breeze to clean and easy to hang posters and other displays on. Finally, we offer high quality custom designs printed on your panels. Choose colors, or have your company logo printed directly on your display.

Tradeshow furniture options

Deciding what furniture is essential to your booth can be one of the hardest parts of setting up for a tradeshow. If you have too little then you won’t have enough room to work, and if you have too much then your booth becomes crowded and unwelcoming. Fortunately, we offer a wide variety of shelving and furniture options so you can customize your booth to perfectly suit your needs. Our SOLO Demo Stations provide counter space for demonstrations, conducting transactions, or holding literature on your products and services. They come with several different options for shelf space and signage, but all are compact, portable, and professional looking. For an extra charge, our graphics artists can print your company’s logo or any other custom design right on the demo station.

Attracting positive attention for your product or service is what tradeshows are all about, and we offer the tools you need to do just that. Our products will give you a high quality look and a professional edge that can make you the talk of the tradeshow and the selling season that follows.

Four Marketing Display Options For You To Consider

Our experienced graphics teams can make your designs look clean and colorful, no matter how complicated they may be.  Here are several signage options that you might want to consider when designing your space for the next tradeshow.

Banner stands

These cost efficient options, are light, highly portable, and easy to set up and take down. Our retractable banner stands come in a range of sizes. We offer personalized, full color vinyl banners that stretch between two plastic bars which prevent wrinkling or mis-hanging. Our signs come in wall mounted, floor mounted, and outdoor varieties which are resistant to wind and other elements. Free standing tension banner stands are available in several eye-catching shapes, and you can even order custom shapes from our design department. Make your tradeshow display as unique as your business with a custom banner design.

Pop up displays

These large, sturdy displays come in floor or table mounted options. They are great as a backdrop to your booth or as a focal point. They even come with display lighting built right into the unit so you can rest assured that visitors don’t miss a thing. If you’re looking for something to really set your tradeshow booth apart from the competition, then don’t miss our custom pop up displays. These free standing floor displays come in a number of shapes including the dramatic Reverse Gullwing and Propeller. These are great for fitting into the non-standard spaces you may sometimes get stuck with at tradeshows and other marketing opportunities. Give even the most ordinary of spaces an architectural flourish with one of these displays.

Fabric displays

Similar to banner stands but made out of more durable silkscreened cloth, fabric displays lend your marketing a touch of class. Try our Aspen Fabric Frame panels to make your display pop. These panels come in a variety of customizable sizes, and we offer hardware that allows them to be mounted on the wall, ceiling, or floor. We can also make them two sided for a 360 degree view. If you want something more dramatic, then have a look at the Xr-Line of fabric displays. These floor mounted united provide a colorful, custom backdrop for your display. You can choose from a number of designs, including some with tables and storage space built right into the unit.

Digital signs

These LCD digital signs will help you really make a splash. These signs are easy to set up and operate, and offer fully customizable and changeable content. You can even store several programs on the sign at once, so you can switch easily between static picture marketing and dynamic video presentations. The thin LCD screens are light weight and easy to transport, and our digital signage stands are simple and intuitive to set up.  If you want a professional marketing tool that can adapt to your changing needs for years to come, then consider investing in digital signage.

No matter what your signage needs, our design team is willing to work with you to provide marketing options that fit your space requirements and budget without sacrificing quality.

Let Your Sign Do The Talking

No matter how long you’ve been in business or how fantastic your product may be, it’s always important to get your name out there and attract new clients. It’s for that very reason that trade shows are so popular with attendees and presenters alike; these types of events bring competitors together under one roof—or arena—to sell their services and products to a captive audience. And while reserving space at a trade show does ensure that attendees have access to your product or service, it does not guarantee that anyone will take notice of your booth. Make sure that your company, service, and display is represented in the best and most efficient way to attract prospective customers by using quality signage to its fullest potential. By literally putting your brand out there for all to see you can help to make sure it’s not soon forgotten.

Digital Signs for a Digital Age

Over are the days when the entire scope and breadth of your business had to be encapsulated in a single image or poster. With the advent, popularity, and convenience of digital banners and stands, you have the freedom to showcase as many images as you like in one easy-to-display unit. Digital banners are portable, and may be uploaded with as many graphics as you need. Many types of digital banner stands feature speaker units, and Hi-Definition screens are quickly becoming standard to showcase your work at the highest quality possible.

Taking Your Sign to the Streets

It’s true that many trade shows take place inside venues like convention centers and hotel ball rooms, but that is not to say that you won’t ever find yourself manning a booth outdoors. Proper signage may be even more crucial when you don’t have a roof over your head, since there are so many factors and distractions that you simply can’t account for. Tools like double-sided retractor banners, 3-D graphic spades, and lightweight aluminum stands provide exhibit booths with the visibility they need in a bustling outdoor environment.

Getting the Head Start You Deserve Right Out of the Gate

Your exhibit booth’s main sign might be striking and eye-catching, but it’s only visible to trade show attendees that are actually at your display. It’s possible to make your first impression first by showcasing your brand with a strategically positioned retractable banner. Banner stands come in a variety of sizes and are incredibly portable. Simply place your banner at the entrance of the trade show venue or in the hotel lobby and get to the business of introducing your product to clients before they even find your booth on the floor of the showroom.

With so many booths to see and such huge crowds to negotiate through, sometimes it’s a wonder that trade show attendees ever find the products and services they’re interested in, let alone differentiate one display from the next. That’s where your booth’s signage really comes into play. By using easily noticeable markers that speak to both the name of your business and the type of services or products you offer, you take the first step in making a meaningful connection with prospective customers. And when it comes to presenting at trade shows, getting and keeping your audience’s attention is the ultimate goal.

Designing Your Trade Show Booth With The Client In Mind

You’re confident in your sales pitch, you’re certain your product and/or service is solid, and you’re excited to sell it to the world. You’ve worked very hard up to this point, and now it’s time to go the extra mile by introducing your business, product, and vision to the public at your very first trade show event. And while simply showing up has exposed your company and service to multitudes of potential clients, the ultimate objective is to present an exhibit space that not only represents your company and service but compels passersby to stop, think, and consider how your product can benefit them. Here are a few examples of effective trade show booth components that you can incorporate into your own presentation to make the right first impression, and gain clients in the process.

floor-display

Trade Shows Come and Go but Pop-Up Displays are Forever

Depending on the size of the trade show you’re presenting at, and the number of events you’ll be attending throughout the year, you may find that an easy-to-assemble pop-up display works best. These highly portable and convenient exhibits come in various sizes, from tabletop units to full-size floor models, and may be mixed and matched to create a customized display area that’s right for you. Pop-up exhibits can be especially helpful if your assembly team is limited or you find yourself working under strict deadlines to vacate the show room after the event ends.

Fortify Your Exhibit Space with Portable Panel Systems

If ultimate customization is what you’re looking for in your trade booth exhibit, then you might prefer to go with a portable panel-style booth. Specially designed to create an engaging and interactive space for customers, portable panel displays can be configured with features like desktop peninsulas, banner stands, and vital wall space to showcase your products and services. The added workspace and shelving options that panel system booths allow for can also be suited for such elements as live demonstrations, interactive graphic modules, and retail counters.

Create the Right Backdrop for Your Booth’s Success with Softspace Displays

To create a truly multidimensional trade show booth, it’s important to use all of your allotted space effectively. Softspace display elements can complement your exhibit by providing depth to your display area. Softspace displays are also fully customizable to be as simple or multifaceted as you like. By incorporating components like graphic panels, light fixtures, and scenery walls to your booth, you encourage your visitors to linger a little longer as they look over everything you have to offer. Even the more subtle details offered in softspace displays go a long way in leaving a lasting impression on your intended audience.

Swag bags are fun and everyone enjoys snatching up a complimentary pen, pin, or cookie, but that’s not what keeps potential clients’ attention for very long. The thoughtful arrangement and intelligent presentation of your trade show booth can really make the difference between simply being seen or being intriguing and memorable. Along with arming your exhibit with charming attendants, easy-to-identify signage, and a product to be proud of, these display elements can help put you on the map of the showroom floor and keep you and your service on your customers’ minds long after the trade show ends.

Bringing Digital Technology To Your Exhibit Space

Every industry has its trends and the exhibition industry is no different. If you regularly represent your business at trade shows and similar industry events, then you’ve noticed a lot of trends come and go. The money you invest in your display materials has to be wisely spent and you’re rightly hesitant about purchasing new items just because they’re hot one minute. Digital signage is one display component that is here to stay. These easy to use high-tech items can enhance your sales space and command the attention of people attending any industry event

The Advantage of Technology

Some exhibitors are concerned that electronic display elements will be difficult to use, heavy to transport, and unpredictable. We can assure you that our digital signs are none of these things. They’re easy to program, a breeze to transport, and will operate reliably as long as you need them to.

We’ve chosen to offer state of the art high-definition LCD screens that can be easily mounted on a stand or other display of sufficient size. LCD screens are known for their exceptional color and high performance. All laptop computers, hand held digital devices, and tablet computers use LCD screens. An LCD screen can use much less power than old fashioned CRT screens and are compact and lightweight; the 32” screen we offer weighs only twenty pounds! All told, LCD screens are the preferred display method the world over.

Integrating Digital Signs into Your Display Space

The advantages of LCD technology are clear, though what can it bring to your company? How will a digital sign help you promote your products?

High-definition LCD screens are ideal for displaying detailed images. If your company sells products that have detailed elements, this is a good way to highlight those. Video or still images of small scale function allow customers to view the product without requiring you to bring a full demonstration model. Informational video, product specs, and other helpful facts can be displayed on the sign, leaving team members free to share more specific information with interested clients.

Because LCD screens are so lightweight, it’s possible to place them in creative ways. A floor stand is one easy way to display a digital sign; it can be moved around and positioned exactly where you want it. Table stands are also available and help draw attention to the other materials you have on display.  Even better, by strategically placing shelves near the backdrop of your space it’s possible to create a dynamic visual “canvas” that draws attention to central elements.  With a little creative thinking you can do a lot with these convenient screens.

What You’ll Need

LCD screens are powered by a standard electrical supply so they can be plugged into any handy wall outlet; you may want extra extension cords.  You’ll also need a secure stand.  We can supply you with reasonably priced floor stands that are stable and ready for use in minutes.  Our two floor stand products securely mount a 32” inch screen; built-in speakers, remote control, and 2 GB SD card reader are included with our premium model.

The investment you make in digital sign equipment is going to be a wise one.  The technology behind these items has proven its usefulness and market longevity so there’s no need to be concerned about obsolescence any time soon.  Digital signs will bring a brand new dimension to all your displays.

Quality Display Options For Your Next Industry Event

10ft-floor-pop-up-displayGiving your company display the look it needs to make a good impression at trade events can be challenging.  You have a lot of important information that you want to share with potential customers but you’re also competing with a lot of other exhibitors trying to do the very same thing.  Instead of bringing new, untested technology into your booth space, consider pop up displays.  These easy to use displays can be placed on tables right at eye level and moved about as you need to. Floor displays bring a polished, professional look to any booth space.  Even better, you can create a pop up display that has exactly the size and appearance you want.

Eye-Catching and Informative

Pop up displays are one of our most popular exhibition products.  Our customers especially appreciate how easy they are to customize.  This custom look helps you stand out and attract the attention of event attendees.

When you choose to purchase a pop up display from us, you’ll first select which size you want.  Tabletop displays are available in lengths of six or eight feet, in keeping with standard table lengths.  These displays are large enough to command attention and streamlined so that you can still use the table space for other items.  If you prefer a floor display, you can choose a model that’s eight, ten, or twenty feet long.  Each helps create an organized, attractive space in which people can stand and move around easily.

The surfaces of these displays feature high resolution graphics and text to make them informative as well as attractive.  To make the design process as easy as possible for our customers, the designs you submit to us don’t need to be created in separate portions for each panel and no bleed space is necessary.  We can accept electronic files in all industry standard formats including Photoshop 6, 7, or CS; Illustrator 8, 9, 10, or CS; Indesign 2; and QuarkXpress 4, 5, or 6.

Versatility and Convenience

Every element of an exhibition booth space has to be used to its full advantage; there’s no space for unnecessary components so each one has to be chosen with care.  The versatility of pop up displays makes them a natural fit in all settings.  A tabletop display calls attention to the other elements within your space, such as brochures and handouts.  Floor displays enhance the flow of foot traffic and establishes a space that is clearly your own.  Even better, with our custom pop up displays it’s possible to create a space that’s entirely unlike any other in the exhibition hall.

Time is of the essence at every industry event, so you don’t want to waste time assembling complex display components.  This is another area in which pop up displays excel.  The lightweight portions can be put together by only a few staff members so you can be ready to go in just minutes.  When you’re done for the day, everything disassembles quickly and can be packed up securely for easy transport.

The Right Look

In the end, you want your booth space to look professional and engaging.  There are many excellent display ideas that will help you achieve this goal.  Pop up displays will help your team members focus their attention on the customers instead of on the display.  These convenient and attractive display options are highly customizable to give you the most value for your money. P3XRPPDE36DF

Impress With Eye Catching Outdoor Displays

When participating in an outdoor marketing event, it’s important to maintain a high profile and ensure your customers know you’re a part of the occasion.  It may be especially challenging to draw their attention when outdoors, so some well-thought-out planning should occur several months ahead of time.  Fortunately, there are lots of different outdoor displays to choose from, and each can beautifully send a meaningful message to your customers.  With some careful planning and attentive design, your exhibit may be the talk of the outdoor tradeshow.  It may attract more people than you had thought, and may also land you some lucrative sales.  Impress your customers with eye catching outdoor displays.

Outdoor competition

An outdoor marketing event can be vastly different from an indoor one.  Indoors vendors share the same brick and mortar, and while the location of some booths may be better than others, generally neighboring vendors are the only competition.  Also, indoor shows tend to be more formal and structured.  Outdoors, on the other hand, the shows are generally more casual and customers can easily be distracted by happenings around them.  Not only will you compete with other vendors at an outdoor event, you will also compete with the fact that customers are outside.  Distractions like scenery and events not related to the tradeshow can interfere with the attention they may be willing to give you.  It’s important to make sure you’re display can stand up to the competition.

Plan the display

It can take time to design and build the display you want, so it’s crucial to your success at the marketing event to plan well ahead of time.  Plan every detail.  Make a backup plan of your plan.  A design conjured up by one person for one hour would likely be unsuccessful when made into fruition.  The display may not send the correct message, it may not be the proper dimensions, and it may not be as effective as it could have been.  How unfortunate, indeed, to spend the money building a display that incorrectly portrays the company.  Graphic design, including logos and company color palates are one of the first things customers associate with a business.  Protecting these elements and using them properly is paramount when designing a display.  Consider these items and plan accordingly:

  • The formality of the venue
  • The size of your space
  • The anticipated number of guests and vendors
  • The message you want to express
  • The hours of operation
  • The materials and type of display desired
  • The graphic elements to incorporate
  • The company slogans or jingles to include
  • The marketing budget

Select the type of display

During the planning phase you will determine the type of display you will need.  There are a lot to choose from, and each has its benefits and drawbacks.  It’s important to choose the one that would work best in your space, adequately convey your message, and fit into your marketing budget.  Keep in mind that the size of the display may not be of consequence if it is done well.  They may include the following:

Gain visibility outdoors

Competing with neighboring vendors can be a challenge at an indoor tradeshow, but moving the event outdoors brings on a new set of challenges.  It’s not impossible to draw individuals to you outdoors, but you may have to work a little harder.  A well planned display can help.  It can make your presence known to the customers you wish to influence.

Stand Out from the Crowd with Banner Stands

Psst! Want to get a little attention at your next trade show? Its easier than you might think. You already know you need great products and services to get a crowd excited. But to help them find you in a busy trade show, try adding Banner Stands to your next display. Banner Stands offer the ability to showcase that new product or service easily at your display, letting it be one of the first things customer sees. Here are a few of our favorite tips to make your Banner Stands truly unforgettable.retractable-banner-cat

Add unique graphics and make them “pop”! When planning your display, remember that at a trade show your banner is something people will be able to see at a distance. It will be something you can use to draw in a crowd from across the room. Take advantage of this opportunity, and give them something great to see. This is the ideal space to put your spokesperson, top new product or something you are promoting at the trade show.

Have something great to say. This is another important factor to keep in mind. Not only do you want to use graphics, but you want to say something. One of the best things you can add is your company name. Another thing to add would be the tag line or slogan for your latest product or promotion. Make whatever you say something memorable, like that song that keeps running through your head hours after you’ve taken that spinning class at the gym.

Make them an offer they can’t afford to refuse. Want to really draw a crowd? Use your banner as the ideal opportunity to offer visitors something when they visit your booth. They could sample your product, get a free T-shirt or other promotional item. Another exciting opportunity would be to meet your spokesperson!

Our best inside secret of all: use the billboard strategy. Billboards used to be one of the most popular forms of advertising, today you’ll still find billboards in a few favorite places. Billboards can be quite memorable and successful. So what makes a great billboard? It needs to be memorable. It also needs to have appealing graphics, that suit the company to a “T.” That billboard also needs to say something, a “call to action” that reminds you to buy to product, make a call, to do something. Plan yours with that same strategy in mind. Take advantage of the opportunity they offer you at your next trade show, and prepare for a great crowd at your booth!

Go Hi Tech with DIGITAL Banner Stands for Your Next Display

Some displays can be a bit ho-hum. After awhile its like we’ve all seen it before. In today’s digital age, a great way to get attention is to add technology to your displays. Show you are up-to-date and on the cutting edge. No matter what industry you are in, its important for your display to represent your company, products and services in the best way. Every company today wants to show they are adept with technology, with a website, social media and using the latest technology. Adding a hi-def banner stand is another way to remind your customers that your company is tech-friendly, and best of all this will work for any industry.

A picture is worth a thousand words. We are a visual society and most of us pay more attention to the images we see related to advertising and promotion than we truly realize. With hi-def, that image/photo is shown to the best of its ability. You can even show a variety of images to entertain and keep your audience captivated with a fun presentation at your display booth.

“Just right” size matters when it comes to displays. The DIGITAL Banner Stand comes in a size you’ll love to set up. At 74” inches tall and 36” inches wide, it only weighs about 100lbs. A hi tech heavyweight that is a logistical lightweight you can easily set up just about anywhere you go. It makes that first day at your booth so much easier, especially if you have to “nudge” the stand into a different location. Its something one able bodied person – or two – can do with confidence, even if they are dressed in business suits and conference badges!

Its budget friendly & adaptable. This is one of the top reasons to choose this technology. Not only can you use this banner stand for this upcoming trade show, but you can create new presentations for trade shows for the coming years! This is not a single solution product, you can keep adapting it to your needs. The stand is large enough to get attention at about 6 1/12 feet tall and 3 feet wide, but also small enough you can consider it for smaller events, not only larger trade shows. Just another reason to go hi tech for your next trade show!
